Hero Rajasekhar's wife Jeevitha has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] short while ago in Hyderabad. In the presence of state president Kishan Reddy, Jeevitha took up the BJP flag, however will she contest in the upcoming general elections or not is something still in doubts.

Jeevitha and Rajasekhar were of Congress party and during 2009 elections, they campaigned aggressively against Chiranjeevi and his party PRP. After Chiru merging PRP with Congress, the couple joined YSR Congress party, however they did not receive much recognition. Rajasekhar couple tried all the possibilities of joining Telugu Desam Party [TDP] and Congress too, but their efforts went waste.

Finally after long deliberations, Jeevitha decided to join BJP and so it happened.
