TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu declared that LB Nagar candidate R Krishnaiah as Telangana Chief Ministerial candidate on behalf of Telugu Desam Party at Adilabad election campaign. Addressing the public meeting at Bellampalli, Naidu proposed Krishnaiah's name and said only TDP can bring social justice to this region.

The TDP honcho also lashed out at news of TRS coming into power. “Soon a BC leader will become Prime Minister of India and Telangana will also have a BC chief minister. There is no doubt about TDP and BJP victory in the elections,” said Mr. Naidu.

Chandrababu said that only SCs and BCs lost their lives in the fighting for Telangana but not the family members of TRS president KCR.
