For the past two decades, Chandrababu Naidu has been leading the Telugu Desam Party [TDP] and was also the ideal choice for the chief minister position. Now that united AP is divided, Chandrababu became the CM of residuary AP and probably for another decade or so he might continue to lead the party and state [if in power]. But what after that ? Who will lead TDP and become the chief minister of the state on behalf of the party. Well, breaking the silence, Agriculture minister said, Lokesh will be the future chief minister of AP.
Minister Prattipati Pulla Rao opined that Lokesh has all the qualities to lead the state as well as party and said, “in the recent elections, Lokesh's contribution is immense and with his team, he made his own mark in the party. Now Lokesh is making constructive progress in party and helping the government in whatever way he could. He is transforming into a pure politician and so Lokesh is the ideal choice on behalf of our party as the future chief minister of the state and also can lead the party.”
Pulla Rao is the first TDP leader to talk about Lokesh's future role and this is also for the first time a discussion on TDP's future leader came out. Let's see what other leaders have in their mind and we will have more interesting discussion about the Nandamuri's role in TDP.
