TRS Karimnagar member of Parliament Vinod Kumar has written to Union Railway minister Suresh Prabhu, asking him to change the name of 'AP Superfast Express' train which runs from Hyderabad to New Delhi, every day. Vinod in his letter mentioned that its been six months that Telangana state came into existence and label of the train has no concern with the state. So he asked the minister to look after the issue as Vinod claimed that there is no action from Railway Authority despite making several attempts.
“I have written to Railway Department and Railway Board Chairman but there was no reply nor any action on the request. Telangana state is formed six months and it is unfortunate that the train hasn't been renamed. The train completely runs from Telangana state and has no connection with AP state,” said Vinod.
However, this request of renaming would arrive from the South Central Railways which has all the authority of train but a request from honourable MP would be considered added a sources from Railways.
