Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi made controversial statements by saying, "Everyone is born a Muslim and then gets converted into other religions." At the MIM headquarters, Owaisi addressed a massive crowd and commented his views on the recent religious conversions issue. He slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being silent and ignorant on the burning issue.
“Muslims are offered Rs 5 lakhs where as Christians are offered Rs 2 lakhs. This is some kind of a joke? Muslims won't change their religion even if they are offered the world of wealth. Come back to Islam, I won't offer money but can guarantee the world of success and beyond it,” said Owaisi. He demanded against the Pakistan terror based leaders for killing innocent people and added that MIM is ready to support the BJP government against terrorism.
“We have political differences with BJP but enemies of the country are enemies of Muslims too. We support BJP's any sort of action against the enemies of the nation,” added the 45 year old MP. MIM made its mark in Maharashtra Assembly elections by winning two crucial seats and is sketching to increase its base. Reports say that MIM could contest the Delhi elections too which are expected in the month of February.
