Indefinite fast 4th day: Jagan's pulse rate coming down

YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy's indefinite fast for the special status has reached 4th day today and reportedly, his pulse rate is coming down.

The opposition leaders from YSRCP party are fighting against the centre and the state governments for the special status, and regarding this, Jagan's indefinite fast in Guntur has reached 4th day. But till date, there is no move from the centre or the state governments in any manner.

Upon checking the present health condition of Jagan, the medical team said that, he is getting weaker every hour. “His sugar level was 94 mg, pulse was 80 and blood pressure 110/70”, they said.

On the other side, Jagan's indefinite fast is getting heavy response. The students and unemployed youth from Macharla, Tenali, Chilakaluripeta, Mangalagiri and other areas of Guntur district attended the Deeksha and expressed their solidarity.

A few of the students said that, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu failed in providing employment opportunities and opined that, the state development is possible only with Jagan and his fast is one of the example to prove his dedication.

Jagan explains special status benefits

A large number of public gathered at the venue and Jagan explained the details of special status, like how can it benefit to the state and how does the employment opportunities increase and all.

He said, “If a state has special status, it can get 90% funds as grants, which need not be payed back to the Centre.

Moreover, new industries come forward, as they would get permissions  and discounts easily, to set up the industries in the state. As new industries comes, there would be scope for the increase in the employment opportunities and thus the state starts developing slowly and each district in Andhra Pradesh, will have a city like Hyderabad,”Jagan said.

With the inspiration of Jagan, many indefinite strikes are being held in local mandals and villages, for the special status. On the other side, the state government is maintaining mum on the issue.

This is further strengthening Jagan's strike and the words he spoke in the meeting. Jagan said, “Chandrababu Naidu is unable to question the centre as he is cornered in cash for vote case. For his personal crimes, he is ready to sacrifice the state's development.” If Naidu continues to maintain silence, then people might take Jagan's words as true statements.
