What are the strategies played for disturbing Jagan’s indefinite fast? Is it AP government’s strategy or Jagan’s own strategy? Let us explore the possibilities.  

It is known that from the beginning, AP government is against Jagan performing the indefinite fast and that is the reason for rejecting the permission, when Jagan asked to perform it.

However, Jagan made it possible to conduct the fast by approaching the High Court and continued the strike for six days. In the span of that six days, he tried to make the complete media attentive to him. But did he really succeed in doing so?  
     
Frankly speaking, Jagan did not succeed in making the public or the media, eye on him completely, as the state officials are busy with the several other issues like Amaravathi stone ceremony and so.

With this, Jagan might have thought that his strike timing is wrong and then tried to play the strategy in obstructing the strike.  

News was spread in the social networking sites and even Jagan’s health condition suddenly started trending in the sites (Jagan’s aides might have trended it) to make the public and officials be attentive towards him.

So at this time, generally the normal public thinks that, as Jagan’s health is in bad condition, the government obstructed the fast, to save his life.

If not this way, they might even think that, as AP government is anyway not happy with Jagan, an opposition leader, performing the strike, it might thus have obstructed it. So keeping these two issues in mind, Jagan might have instructed his aides to make the suitable arrangements and accordingly, the pre-planned police obstructed the fast, as per Jagan’s wish.  

Meanwhile, the YSRCP leaders used the incident as a weapon and blamed the AP government for obstructing the strike and even it is a convincing reason to make the public believe.

Naidu’s strategical mum on Jagan’s strike

If observed well, it seems even Naidu has his hand in obstructing the strike. When Jagan was performing the fast. The former started engaging the people in various issues, by performing the programmes, involving the public.

The state and central governments maintained uttered mum on Jagan fast, though the latter is criticizing the governments in his speeches. The reason behind this is, if the government responds to him, then Jagan counters back and thus issue starts getting viral in public. So Naidu maintained strategical mum on the opposition leader’s fast.  

So Jagan was left all alone on the stage, with just the pre planned people around him. He might have felt insulted and thus called off the strike, with no other option left.
