250 Passengers Stranded at RGIA

Around 250 passengers traveling to London, were stranded at the Shamshabad airport as  British Airways canceled the flight without notice.

British Airways Flight BA 277 was scheduled to arrive at Hyderabad in 4.30 am and return to London. When the flight did not land as scheduled, passengers inquired with the airline only to be told that it had been canceled due to a technical snag. Angry passengers staged a protest for an alternative.

Later officials arranged stay for passengers at a nearby hotel. In another incident, passengers who were supposed to travel to Vizag in a Spicejet flight faced the same problem. The flight got  delay due to a technical snag. The plane later took off for Vizag.
