Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expanded his Cabinet on Tuesday, by appointing 19 new ministers.
Modi said this would strengthen his Cabinet's ability to deliver on promises made in this year's budget. The Cabinet now consists of 80-members from 45 when Modi came to power two years ago.
The oath taking ceremony was held in the Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday morning . Firstly Prakash Javdekar who was elevated to Cabinet rank took the pledge.The new Ministers of State sworn in after him.
Five ministers resigned to pave the way for the new faces. They are Nihalchand, Ram Shankar Katheria, Sanwar Lal Jat, Manuskhbhai D Vasva and M K Kundariya.

Prime Minister held a Union Cabinet meet on Tuesday with all the new ministers in which he said, “You have a few hours to celebrate, then get down to work.”
Modi asked the newly sworn-in ministers to work hard with honesty and dedication.
Modi discussed about the cabinet reshuffle with senior party colleagues including BJP chief Amit Shah, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
