Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK chief Puratchi Thalaivi Selvi J Jayalalitha’s last rites were performed at Marina beach at 4.30 PM with full state honours.

She is laid to peace near her mentor Shri M G Ramachandran, who too was a mass leader and Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister.

President Panab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Modi and other prominent political leader and eminent personalities from all walks of life has paid homage to the departed leader. The people of Tamil Nadu grieves for the loss of their beloved ‘Amma’.
