KCR Announces Free Electricity For Backward Castes:- Telangana Chief Minister today arranged a special press meet to announce several offers for the backwards castes in the state. SCs and STs in the state will be offered free electricity for the first 101 units in their households. The state government has been offering 50 units of free power for SCs and STs which will now be increased to 101 units in the state. The Government will pay the discum charges to the electricity department informed KCR.

KCR even informed that the electricity consumption turned higher in the state due to the electronic equipment usage and the state has been generating enough power than before. Because of this the backward castes will be benefited in the state. The meeting took place in Jagruthi Bhavan today. KCR even announced Self-respecting buildings for all the castes and land will alloted for the same.  KCR even revealed that the lands are located across the outskirts of Hyderabad for the same.
