KCR Orders Re-verification of Intermediate Answer Sheets:- As many as 18 students ended their lives themselves after they could not digest that they failed in their Intermediate examinations. The Telangana state government is facing utmost pressure because of the irregularities that took place with the results of Intermediate exams. The results of thousands of students went wrong and several students have been marked absent. KTR announced an expert committee and the opposition parties slammed TRS for the happenings. Now Telangana Chief Minister KCR himself stepped out to bring things to control.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has arranged eight centers for re-verification and recounting. The date of application to file the re-verification and recounting has been extended to April 27th. DEO office Gun Foundry, Mahabubia junior college, MAM junior college (Nampally), government junior college (Kachiguda), Falaknuma government junior boys college, government junior college (Hayath Nagar), government junior college (Shamshabad), DEO office in Medchal, government junior college in Kukatpally are the centres where re-verification will be carried. The decision has been taken after KCR conducted a review meeting with the officials.
KCR asked the officials to complete the process at the earliest. This will be followed by advanced supplementary examinations to prevent the loss of the academic year for the students. KCR urged the students not to commit suicides.
