YS Jagan Seeks KCR's Help:- After YS Jaganmohan Reddy took oath as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the relations between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana looked good. The Chief Ministers of Telugu states met several times to discuss about the pending issues and about helping each other when needed. Now, AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy penned a letter to KCR to help the state in the coal supply. In his letter, YS Jagan requested KCR to increase the daily supply of coal to Andhra Pradesh from the Singareni coal mines.
As the current supply is four rakes per day, YS Jagan requested KCR to supply nine rakes of coal per day. Andhra Pradesh has been quite short in coal which is affecting the power supply in the state. Earlier, AP never faced coal shortage and a series of incidents landed the state in trouble. Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO) is in huge need currently. An accident took place in Bharatpur mines in Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) this year after which AP has been struggling for coal. Telangana Chief Minister KCR is yet to take a call and respond on this.
