Colonel Santosh's Last Rites Today:- B Santosh Babu, the Colonel of the Indian Army passed away in a brutal attack by China at the border. His mortal remains reached IAF Station Hakimpet yesterday. Telangana IT Minister KTR received the body and paid his respects after which his mortal remains are sent to Kesaram village near Suryapet. Locals gathered in large amounts to pay their respect for Santosh Babu. The senior defense officials received the body in a coffin. Governor Dr Tamilsai Sondararajan too was present and paid her respects for the martyred officer.

Santosh Babu's wife Santoshi accompanied her husband's body to his hometown in an ambulance from the IAF Station. Telangana leaders G Jagadish Reddy, Mahmood Ali, Ch Malla Reddy and other top officials, cops were present. The funeral and last rites of Santosh Babu will take place today in his half-acre farm plot that his family owns. A mud road was laid to the plot for the army truck to carry his body from his home. The Telangana government urged people not to gather in large amounts for the funeral. 50 people are allowed to attend the last rites of Santosh Babu.
