KCR Announces Rs 5 Cr For Colonel Santosh Babu's Family:- Telangana based Colonel Santosh Babu was killed in a battle of India with China recently at the Ladakh border along with 19 other army officials. His mortal remains were brought to Hakimpet air force station and Telangana minister KTR personally received his mortal remains. Telangana Chief Minister KCR wanted the officials and ministers to personally monitor the funeral and other formalities on the behalf of the Telangana government. The last rites of Santosh Babu have been held in his village in Suryapet with state honors and several leaders, officials attended the funeral.

Telangana government today announced an aid of Rs 5 crores to the family of Colonel Santosh Babu today. Telangana minister KTR along with Chief Minister KCR will personally hand over the cheque to the family of Santosh Babu. The other army officials who got martyred in the same fight received Rs 10 lakhs each from their state governments. Telangana government and KCR once again proved that they would stand as a helping hand for all those who sacrificed their lives. From the past two days, KCR was badly criticized for not offering the respect for the mortal remains of Colonel Santosh Babu. KCR kept an end for all the criticism with the announcement of Rs 5 crores for the family of Santosh Babu.
