PRC Issue: Talks between Government and Officials Fail:- The PRC issue in the state of Andhra Pradesh created tremors across the state. The government officials wanted the new GO of PRC issued by the government to be canceled as the government officials are losing big. The government wanted the officials to come for talks after the officials announced that they would head for a strike from February 7th. A PRC Saadhana Committee has been formed with the officials from various departments. The officials of PRC Saadhana Committee met the state cabinet of ministers in the Secretariat yesterday to discuss about the salaries of January without implementing the new PRC. The officials wanted a reply from the cabinet to initiate the talks about the PRC GO.

The State cabinet asked the officials of the PRC Saadhana Committee to be available for another round of discussions. The state's Chief Secretary Sameer Sharma arranged a press conference and played a Powerpoint presentation about the January salaries which saw a hike in the salaries of the government employees. The state's Chief Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy made it clear that the demands of the officials cannot be met. The PRC Saadhana Committee decided to go ahead with the strike as per the plan from the midnight of February 6th.

The officials of PRC Saadhana Committee will fire the new payslips today and Chalo Vijayawada is planned tomorrow. The strike will start as per the plan told the government employees. PRC Saadhana Committee told that the cabinet called for talks and insulted the officials. The Committee also said that the answers from the cabinet of ministers were not satisfying. PRC Saadhana Committee asked all the officials to participate in the protests and the strike.
