JP calls KCR a Habitual Fraudster:- Ahead of the Telangana assembly election, the ruling party BRS is pouring funds into the Telangana state public. With just four months left for the upcoming elections, BRS has launched a welfare scheme of Rs1 Lakh for BCs and minorities. Opposition parties condemn the acts of BRS and say that many vows of BRS are yet to be fulfilled.

BRS announced a loan scheme for minorities in 2015 and 2022 for 2.17 lakh persons. But none was processed so far.

Now BRS has come up with a new scheme of Rs 1 L for Backward castes and Minorities. As per government records, 1.53 lakh applications from minority youth are kept on pending for seven years with no explanation. This year 2.2 lakh people have submitted new applications.

The opposition claims that KCR has announced to release of Rs 400 Cr by June 9th as part of this Rs 1 L scheme, but the government has not released any sort of payment yet.

BJP senior leader Marri Sasidhar Reddy on Monday in a press meet told that the Scheme announced by BRS is just a lure for Muslim voters. He also pointed out that except for Muslims and Christians, no other minority groups Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists were mentioned in their scheme.
