Revanth Reddy wants Malkajgiri Parliament victory:- Expressing his disappointment with the Congress' performance in the Assembly elections in Malkajgiri, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy urged party members to ensure that the grand old party secures this segment in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Revanth, who is also the TPCC president, held a meeting with party leaders from the Malkajgiri LS segment on Thursday. During the gathering, he reminisced about his time as the Malkajgiri MP from 2019 to 2023 and attributed KCR's downfall to his election in 2019. While the party performed well in the Assembly elections statewide, the result in Malkajgiri did not meet expectations. However, Revanth emphasized the need for the Congress to win the Malkajgiri seat in the Lok Sabha elections and also mentioned the importance of winning the Secunderabad Cantonment bypoll. He stressed that the development of the constituency, including the implementation of Metro, MMTS, and other services, as well as the resolution of the Jawaharnagar dumpyard issue, depended on the Congress candidate winning the seat.

The Congress members and officials are urged to approach the upcoming elections with a sense of gravity and strive to ensure the party's success in the Lok Sabha polls as well. "Maintain a strong presence and actively campaign at the grassroots level. Dedicate yourself fully to the cause. Begin engaging with the people and conversing with voters as early as 7 am every day," Revanth advised. Patnam Suneetha, who recently joined the Congress from the BRS, sat beside Revanth during the meeting. Later in the day, she was declared as the party's representative in the Malkajgiri constituency.
