The SOC will act as an infrastructure to audit and monitor critical government data. The TS is the only State in the country to launch a policy on cyber security.

The SOCs deal with security issues on an organizational and technical level and are centralized units globally. This acts as a central location for the staff to supervise the site using data processing technology. However, this kind of unit for its government departments and data sets wants to be emulated by the youngest State of India. Not only in its own data base will the security threats be monitored by the SOC in Telangana, but also globally. It will also study the patterns of the attack.
