Royal Challengers Bangalore cricketer Luke Pomersbach-who was charged with several IPC Sections for allegedly molesting a US citizen-was granted bail by a court in Delhi.  It is known that Luke Pomersbach was arrested by the police acting on the complaint given by a woman who alleged Luke molested her and tried to kiss her besides punching her fiancée at a five star hotel in Delhi on Friday.

Luke was given an interim bail and was released on Friday itself. He was, however, directed to appear before the court. The court after hearing the bail petition of Luke Pomersbach has granted bail to him. Meanwhile, he has temporarily lost the chance to play the Indian Premier League as liquor baron Vijay Mallya clearly stated that Luke would not be allowed to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore until his innocence is proved.

Meanwhile, Vijay Mallya’s son who posted derogatory comments on the victim to his Twitter profile was served defamation notices by the victim. The advocates of victim demanded an unconditional apology from Sidhartha Mallya.

Since Luke Pomersbach’s case in the court, we will not speak or guess anything on that but what will happen to Sidharthha Mallya is a big question. Will Sidhartha tender apologies? If yes, then will that be in the form of a tweet?    (Phani)
