Success stories in the Olympics are not uncommon, there would be many that lose and also many who win. But not all victories are alike. A few of them truly standout. Such stories are the ones that inspire millions around the world.

Natalia Partyka of Poland is one such Olympian with a physical disability and yet was qualified for the regular London Olympics 2012. Natalia was born without an arm and yet plays table tennis better than many stars in the game. With her determination and resilience she had already won the hears of the people around the world even before she started her game.

She had beaten Denmark's Mie Skov 4-3 to reach the last 32 of the Olympic events for Table Tennis. She however later lost to Li Jie of Netherlands during a match on Sunday.

It is when you see her serve that you would realize her greatest abilities. She has to carefully balance the ball between the skin folds on the right hand and toss it up before she serves.

Apart from another South African, a blade runner Oscar Pistorius, she is the only one to have gained an entry to both the regular Olympics and Paralympics for the physically disabled.

Talking to the media she says that she is bored by people talking of her disability and that it is nothing special for her. She said that it was her greatest honor to be an inspiration to the world and if she could help people recognize that they could go beyond their true potentials.

She might have lost in the single campaign for table tennis but she has already won the hearts of the world which is quite much more than  just a medal. We wish her all the luck for the doubles event in the Olympics and also the Paralympic event of which she is the defending champion from the Beijing Olympics 4 years ago.
