Australian playing eleven announced, Henriques to debut

India and Australia are preparing neck and neck for the first game of the four match test series, Gavaskar Border Trophy, to be held in Chennai starting tomorrow. The rest of the test matches would be conducted at Hyderabad, Mohali and Delhi respectively.

The last clash against Australia in the Gavaskar Border trophy favored the Kangaroos with a 4-0 whitewash. With the team not as strong as it was before, India need not worry about a whitewash but they have to take utmost care to deal with the weaker team and make the most of it.

The Australian side has already announced the team for the first match and have included a debutant Moises Henriques for the game. The 26 year old could be a potential threat to India considering his role as an all rounder.

Meanwhile, India has yet to announce the playing team for the first test. We have to be careful dealing with the powerful pace attack of the opponents and rest will turn India's way.

Team:

Australia: David Warner, Ed Cowan, Phillip Hughes, Shane Watson, Michael Clarke (c), Matthew Wade (wk), Moises Henriques, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Starc, James Pattinson, Nathan Lyon.
