India made a mark of the occasion of last and 200th test match of Sachin Tendulkar with a big win against West Indies.  

India opted for fielding after winning the toss in the second test match at Wankhade stadium at Mumbai and made 495 runs in the first innings.  West Indies made 182 for all out in the first innings and could make only 187 runs in the second innings. It made a victory to India by a lead of 126 runs and one innings in hand.  

As India has already won the first test match played at Edens at Kolkata, Indian teams could win the test match with 2-0.

Indian bowlers Ojha took 5 wickets, Ashwin 4 and Mohd Shami  1 wicket.  

As the test match is the last one it became memorable to the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.  Captain Dhoni made Sachin also bowl in the second test match.

Sachin shed tears on the occasion for the victory of India and for the grand farewell given to him and also for retiring from cricket.  It was a mixed feeling of joy, ecstasy and hollowness due to the thought of leaving cricket.

Sachin’s wife Anjali also shared her feelings that she cannot imagine Sachin without cricket.  Cricket can go without Sachin but Sachin’s passion is cricket.  So, Anjali said, he cannot be at ease without cricket.  She wondered what will fill Sachin after retiring from cricket.

Rohit Sharma is announced as man of the series and Ojha is declared as Man of the Match for the second test match.
