Sania Mirza and her Romanian partner Horia Tecau entered the Australian Open final defeating the Australian pair of Jarmila Gajdosova and Matthew Ebden 2-6, 6-3, 10-2 in the Semi-finals.

Having lost the first set by 2-6, Sania and Tecau made a strong a comeback in the second set. With 6-3, the game got levelled and decider set was bagged by the Indo-Romanian pair with 10-2. The match lasted for an hour and 15 minutes.

If Sania pair wins the mixed double titles, it will be the second Australian Open and grandslam title for Sania Mirza. Wishing Sania all the best for finals.
