Australia won the final match against Bangladesh and register their first win the T20 World Cup 2014. With this Australia and Bangladesh have ended their journey in the World Cup and will be heading to their respective homes.

Coming to the match, having won the toss, Bangladesh decided to bat first. Openers were dismissed cheaply but Shakib and captain Mushfiqur settled the things right. Shakib scored half century while Mushfiqur fall three runs short. Bangladesh posted a total of 153 runs on the board in their twenty overs.

In reply, Aussie openers Finch and Warner went to a flying start. Finch did not spare any Bangladesh bowler and scored runs allround the park and scored a half century with ease. Warner fall two short of half centruy. Australia chased 154 in 17.3 overs while Finch was awarded Man of the Match.
