United States have reached to Round 16 of the FIFA world cup despite the defeat against Germany yesterday. In the Group G, Germany topped the table while Portugal and Ghana have ended their journey in the world cup. Thomas Muller of Germany scored goal in the 55th minute of the match against US.

It was a tough luck for Portugal in the world cup in spite of having Cristiano Ronaldo in their side. Unfortunately, Ronaldo scored only one goal in this world cup and that too in the last match against Ghana. Anyways Portugal made their exit on a winning note.

In other group matches, Russia drew with Algeria with 1-1 score and Belgium defeated South Korea with 1-0 goals. With this all the leagues matches have come to end and from tomorrow Round 16 [Knock out] matches are set to begin.
