iPhone Prices Hiked In India After Increased Customs Duty:- The Indian government increased the basic customs duty on all the imported mobile phones which came as a shocker for many. It was 10% earlier and it is now increased to 15%. This duty is applicable to all the smartphones in the country and Apple will be the most affected. Apple gets 88% of the mobiles imported and sells them in India. Hence all the models have got price hike in India except iPhone SE which is assembled through Taiwan based contract manufacturer Wistron in Bengaluru.

iPhone gets a huge hike of Rs 3430 and is ranging at Rs 92,430 (64GB). The 256GB phone price has been increased by Rs 3720 and is launched at Rs 1,02,000. Now the price is Rs 1,05,720. iPhone 8 received a price hike of Rs 2450 and Rs 2750 (64GB and 256GB). iPhone 7 and 7 plus have been increased by Rs 2060 and Rs 2180 respectively. The Apple iPhone 6s Plus got a hike in price by Rs 1740 and iPhone 6 received a hike of Rs 1280. Now the new prices have been updated at all the stores across the country.
