It is no news to Indians and the world that our movies are lacking in creativity. Until now we have heard of movies being photocopied frame to frame and songs literally translated and mixed with the same music from the original tunes. Here's a new way of plagiarism that is slightly hard to detect but once you see it you cannot refute the unoriginality of the directors.
The Anjaana Anjaani’s poster bears a strong resemblance to the British film An Education released in 2009 . If that is a sweet coincedence what have you got to say about the white shirt and black tie that match with Peter Sarsgaard's?
Heroine had been a flick that has already become a hit without even hitting the screens but the poster of the movie is a direct rip off from Mariah Carey's promotional photos of her album The Emancipation of Mimi. Did they think a mere change in the expression can fool us?
Madhur Bhandarkar needs to get some art lessons and watch lesser western programs probably. A poster of Heroine with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan unveiled at the Cannes was direct copy of a foreign film named Cover Story. Both the posters look like magazine covers and have titles placed in the same space but with different font. Maybe he understood it would be too obvious to copy the font too!
Teree Sang had crossed it limits by copying not just the movie Juno but the poster too! Really? There are creative people searching for jobs and they should be allowed to design posters for movies.
