Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, is performing the main villain role in Robo 2, the official reports said.

Robo has shaken the Indian box office, minting several crores of money. Rajinikanth has performed both hero and villain roles in the movie, which was hilariously applauded by Indian, as well as foreign movie lovers too.

After that range of success, director Shankar had announced Robo 2, but as per the script of the second part, a powerful villain, who already had good craze, is needed. For this reason, several big names like Aamir Khan, Kamal Haasan, Mammootty are heard, but no one is officially declared.

But finally, it is now, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar said that, he is performing the main antagonist role in Robo 2.

Announcing the same, Akshay excitedly tweeted, “Ending the year on a high note! Super excited to be a part of Robot 2 with the one & only @superstarrajini sir!

He even visually confirmed it, posting a special picture, where he was spotted along with Robo 2 team, including AR Rehman, Shankar and the one and only Rajinikanth.

Being a straight Kollywood movie and Rajinikanth being a Kollywood star, Robo was a huge blockbuster hit in Kollywood and however that range of success cannot be compared with the success in other languages.

But Hindi being the national language, and Bollywood movies having the huge market, Akshay Kumar’s craze is surely going to help Robo 2, to boost up the collections in Bollywood also, thus making the Robo 2, reach new heights in terms of the collections, putting away other movies, very far from it.

Robo 2 has officially launched its shoot yesterday and is aiming 2016 release.
