The film portraying the life of first Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao, has been confirmed, according to the reports.
The biopic on the CM has been doing round for sometime in the industry and according to the latest reports, Madhura Sreedhar Reddy, who released Pelli Choopulu in collaboration with Suresh Babu and has a good experience of directing film, will be directing the biopic of KCR, which will be produced by Raj Kandukuri. The Production house have made the confirmation on it as well.
However, it’s not currently confirmed, who will play the lead role of KCR in the movie as more details of the film are still awaited. The movie will go on floors on the auspicious day of Telangana Formation Day on June 2, 2017 and is going to be released on February 17th, 2018, on the eve of KCR’s birthday.
Sneha Geetham, It’s My Love Story and Backbench Student are the few films which has been directed by Madhura earlier. Her last production venture Oka Manasu performed badly on the Box Office and the buyers of the film suffered with a whooping loss of Rs. 4 crore.
