Rajamouli Says Sorry To RamyaKrishna At Baahubali 2 Audio Launch In Chennai

The Nation’s most happening director of Tollywood, SS Rajamouli, has made some interesting comments at the audio launch of “Baahubali 2” in Tamil version, in Chennai.

At the launch he thanked all the cast and crew of the film, and also revealed some things, which he never shared on any stage till date.

The ace director said, “Actually when I narrated the script to Satyaraj sir, I was worried if he will accept the scene of keeping other actor’s foot on his head. He is such a big star, but after I narrated him the story, he asked for that scene and later during the shoot, he just lived in the character rather his stardom.”

And talking about Ramya Krishna, who played a vital role in the movie as Sivagami, Rajamouli said, “he is sorry and feel ashamed now, as to why he considered all those other options, without approaching Ramya Krishna first. Without her, there is no Sivagami.”

RamyaKrishna, flattered by these praises, felt so overwhelmed and excited.

Earlier, Rajamouli approached Mohan Babu’s daughter, Lakshmi Manchu for the role of Sivagami. However, the actress turned down the offer, pointing out a simple fact related to her age and playing an onscreen mother to Prabhas and Rana. Later, Ramya Krishna stepped into her shoes, says sources.

Rajamouli speaking about Prabhas, said, “Do you know any other hero who will give 3.5 years of his dates for a movie and for a character. Thank you for being a friend and fool, Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali, alias Sivudu.”

The director, further thanked, Rana Daggubati and Tamanna, for being mascots of the film in Bollywood and making it successful there.

The audio launch event happened in the presence of Kollywood star, Dhanush, who was a special guest at the function. Later, the team released audio songs of the film.
