Rajinikanth's Petta Release Date Locked:- Superstar Rajinikanth is eagerly waiting for the release of 2.0 which is the most awaited film in Indian cinema. The movie directed by Shankar is hitting the screens on November 29th. Rajinikanth on the other hand is shooting for his next film titled Petta in the direction of Karthik Subbaraj. The shoot of the film is taking place in a brisk pace in Lucknow currently. Trisha, Simran, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Megha Akash and Bobby Simha will be essaying other crucial roles.
The entire shoot of the film has been planned to be wrapped up by November. The makers initially wanted to release Petta in December during Rajinikanth's birthday. But with 2.0 releasing in November, Petta will release all over during Sankranthi next year. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer and Sun Pictures are producing the film. Rajinikanth will be seen playing a dual role in this action thriller.
