The video byte of Ram Charan's introduction as Alluri Seetharama Raju left everyone in goosebumps. NTR's voiceover is an added attraction for the entire content which was out on Ram Charan's birthday. The makers initially wanted to release the introduction video byte of NTR on his birthday on May 20th.

But with the complete country under lockdown, Rajamouli clarified that it will not release as per the plan. Rajamouli said that they were ready with the content of Ram Charan's video byte because of which it was released as per the plan. With no content for NTR's byte, Rajamouli and his team decided to release it for one more occasion once things settle down. The shoot of RRR will start soon. The new release date too will be announced after the lockdown gets lifted.
