The congress leaders and MLAs owing allegiance to the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy have reportedly held a secret meeting at Kadapa today to discuss the issues related to the forthcoming bye-elections in Pulivendula assembly constituency and Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency.
MLAs Adinarayana reddy, Magunta Srinivasulu and Kamalamma, former Mayor Ravindranath reddy, ZP Chairperson Jyothy reddy and district congress leader Suresh are said to have met and discussed the open challenges being thrown to them by the Health Minister DL Ravindra reddy.
It may be mentioned that Ravindra reddy has challenged the pro-Jagan MLAs to resign and win the assembly seats again by facing the elections if they had any guts. Late YSR’s brother and agriculture minister YS Vivekananda reddy openly declared that he would contest either at Pulivendula or at Kadapa in bye elections depending on the instructions of the party high command.
The MLAs seem to have discussed the lack of developmental works in the Kadapa district and decided to question the chief minster on stoppage of funds to the district after the death of YSR. In order to win the bye-elections, the MLAs have reportedly decided to send a message to the people of the district that the government has not been doing anything to develop the district after the sudden death of YSR.
