‘Nanna’, is a dubbed version of a Tamil film, ‘Deiva Tirumagan’, Starring Vikram, Anushka, Amala Paul and others. After Apatichitudu, Vikram has been seen experimenting with his character, where he plays a mentally handicapped person, in this film. Anushka also has a equally important role to play where she appears as a Advocate in the film. Amala Paul did her bit in the film. Other Actors like Nassar, and a little girl who plays, Vikram’s daughter in the film, were added to the positive side of the film. The Music Scores composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar are quite touchy. Overall Job done by the director A L Vijay, was a positive aspect of the film;
Story:
Amala Paul is a spoilt Bratt who gets in a relationship with Vikram, who is a mentally handicapped person. After giving birth to a baby with Vikram, Amala Paul passes away. Then, Amala Paul’s father Nassar, enters into picture, wanting his Granddaughter back to him. Then the rest of the story, is all about how, Vikram gets back his daughter and How Anushka, who is a Advocate by nature, helps him.
Analysis:
If I am not wrong, Vikram’s ‘Nanna’, appears to be similar to that of a hindi film, that released couple of years ago, Starring Ajay Devgan. Director’s work is very amazing. The film is for those who prefer watching different kind of films, and okey with watching the films that at the end, will not give the ‘Feel Good Movie’ impression. Vikram steals all the show. Anushka has a role to play, Amala Paul’s character is for a lesser duration, but, quite important for the film. Nassar and the little girl, who plays the Daughter of Vikram, did their best, in the film.
Technicalities:
Music by G.V. Prakash Kumar sounds good as always. The Direction by A L Vijay, steals the show. The editing part is good.
Final Word: ‘Nanna’ is for those, who prefer watching experimental film.
