As the title itself says, the Movie projects Amitabh as like, he used to appear in 80’s. Before the release of this film, Director Puri Jagannath, considered this film as a tribute to Big – B, that would elevate his ‘Angry young Man’, image. However, the film seems to be entertaining when compared to other current films of B – Town. Here is the Movie Review for you;
Story:
ACP Karan (Sonu Sood), finds the culprit who is responsible for the Bomb Blasts. Kabir (Prakash Raj), is the Man behind all these Blasts and decides to kill Karan, in order to get rid of any trouble. Then comes Vijju (Amitabh), who will be given the responsibility to kill Karan. Initially, Vijju works on the given task, but, later changes in his min. the actual twist in the film, come into picture when, the final day comes of Vijju killing Karan. Then the entire take off of the Story turns around. Now, this has to be seen on – screen.
Analysis:
If you observe, ‘Buddah…’, has taken on the story line based on that of Block Buster in Telugu, ‘Pokiri’. But the difference is, in this flick the 68 year old man will be leading the entire Story. However, Director of the film, Puri Jagannath has managed to make the audience sit and watch the entire film. Some sequences and dialogues are copied from Puri’s, Telugu films, in past.
The first half seems to be a bit confusing as some sequences do not seem to be clear. But, all the suspense will be revealed in second half. There is no doubt that Amitabh is the show stealer in this flick. The Actor entertains the Audience with his looks and performance. The Actor has tried out a different kind of a attire on – screen. Other characters played by Sonu Sood, Prakash Raj, Charmee, Subba Raju, Veteran Actress Hema Malini and Raveena Tondon, are upto the mark.
Technicalities:
The screenplay and story telling style in the film revolved the style of Puri Jagannath. Music socores composed by Vishaal Shekar are upto the mark. The background score composed by T – Town Music Director, Anup Roobens, were the added advantage for the film. The Cinematography and the editing areas are to be appreciated. Most of the dialogues sounded to be entertaining and had wacky factor in them.
Final Word:
‘Buddah Hoga Tera Baap’, worth watching on Silver Screen.
