I still remember watching ‘Rangam’ of Actor Jeeva. I went to watch the film, without any expectations and came out of a theater with ‘What a film!’ ka expression on my face. And with the same expectation, I have seen the heroes another Tamil film dubbed in Telugu, titled ‘Vacchaadu – Gelichaadu’. So, to know my expression about the film, read further;
Story:
The story opens when Jeeva (Jeeva) enters the City to meet a bag guy, Ramana (Nanda) and joins as Ramana’s assistant. The reason why Jeeva is fond of Ramana, will not be revealed until the interval of the film. The story created by Jeeva about his love affair with Anjali (Tapsee) and narrated same to Ramana, and the truth behind this story will be revealed at the interval. In the second half of the film, Ramana kills Anjali’s father and Anjali wants Jeeva to kill Ramana, as revenge. What happens next, why do these guys want to kill somebody? What would be the climax? Will Jeeva does get Anjali? All these are to be seen on a Silver Screen.
Analysis & Performance:
The film resembles us of some T – Town films like ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Darling’. The suspense created and revealed in the film, the performance of Jeeva, Tapsee, Nanda and others, the take off of every sequence, the revealing of the suspense, the entire film is definitely not a new story. But, in certain scenarios, the director has succeeded in holding the audience attention and the taking of the film is a highlight. Even 2 to 3 songs manage to entertain you. This is a formula film like any other commercial flick, with some sort of a differentiation in the treatment given to the film.
Some sequences appear to be a bit dragging but, the overall film is okay to watch once. All the other departments of the film did their bit and some locations that appear in the song sequences are worth mentioning.
Final Word:
Don’t watch ‘Vacchaadu – Gelichaadu’, with any expectations, if you desire to enjoy the film!
