Analysis :
VeeduTheda is another routine love story, where a small time aim less guy falls for a matured girl and surprisingly even the girl would fall for him, but after some drama. There is no freshness in the subject and the screenplay goes here and there. And moreover, Nihkil loses his original charm and tries to imitate the acting style of many heroes throughout the film. One of the advantage of the film is the entire film has one constant aspect and that is comedy. Those who are satisfied watching Comedy and nothing else in the film would enjoy this flick.
First half of the film appears to be very lengthy and much predictable. One of the Comedians is the film; MS Narayana does his ‘Dookudu’ mimic stunt yet again. This time he imitates PawanKalyan and Mahesh Babu in addition to Balakrishna and Rajinikanth. Though we enjoy watching this, the same appears to be monotonous and boring after one point of time.
Seems like, in the second half of the film, the story did not know where to go and the Director has decided the abrupt ending of the film, even that was not a convincing aspect. Though we get to see certain difference in the screenplay of the film, overall it is hard to stay connected with the film.
Performance :
Nikhil tries to imitate Raviteja yet again, but failed to be as entertaining as his mentor. He should learn to act as he hardly emotes except putting faces. His dances and fights are good though. Pooja Bose doesn’t know to act neither to dance affectively. If she aspires to sustain in the industry, she have to get trained in these areas. Ali, Raghubabu, Master Bharath and VenuMadhav are mildly entertaining and MS Narayana leads the pack. Suman and SayajiShinde are alright in their roles. Rest of the star cast did their bit.Music by Chakri is mediocre and none of the songs are hummable Background score is loud. Dialogues byChinni Krishna are up to their mark. Rest all departments did their bit.
Final Word‘Veedu – Theda’. Not much to talk about!
