Analysis :

This is a story of careless guy who tries to show where his real passion lies. The first of the movie is decent supported by comedy. The mother – son relation was shown realistic and every audience can connect with their own mother. Saranya should be patted for her performance as Dhanush's mother. The typical middle-class life appeals to everyone but too much realistic approach may not go well. The interval episode is also good.

However, after good first half and interval, the second half gets routine. The director tried to put it in a simple way and used screenplay. But he falls short of audience expectations. The climax is very weak and any audience can easily predict it.

Performance :

Dhanush nailed in each and every category. The only thing that may not be liked by the audience is Dhanush's looks. He is more like a boy next door rather than a hero. Dhanush balanced his performance well from being a careless guy to become a responsible engineer of a project that has some value. His scenes with his mother [Saranya] are just outstanding. Everyone has to watch them.

Amala Paul played a supportive role but the love angle doesn't have a proper ending.

Final Word: Go with zero expectations, Raghuvaran will impress you.
