Jawaan Analysis
Jawaan has an engaging first half and it has been laced with decent entertainment, emotions and romance. The songs have not been shot and placed well. The film turns serious as it processes and the interval episodes have been shot well. On the whole, the first half of Jawaan has been decent with all the commercial ingredients falling in right amounts. The first half promises a decent second half and the expectations stand high.
The second half of Jawaan falls flat because of the poor narration. The major plot looks deviated and the narration looks unusual and slammed. The songs have been huge barriers for the film and Jawaan has enough flaws and can be given a huge skip. The last half an hour of the film which is quite crucial fails to impress the audience and Jawaan ends up as a below average film because of the poor second half. Sai Dharam Tej and Prasanna tops the show.
Performance
Sai Dharam Tej has been outstanding in his role and tops the show. He has been impressive in the emotional drama and is a feast to watch. Prasanna should be mentioned specially for his performance and stunning screen presence. He excelled as a baddie and Mehreen looks bubbly and fit in the assigned role. She has been good in the romantic scenes and steals the show. All the other actors have been decent and did a decent job in the assigned roles.
Jawaan has a routine and predictable story line which doesn’t leave the audience exciting. The screenplay and the dialogues are the film’s biggest disappointments. The songs have been good to listen but they have not been shot well. The cinematography and the background score are the major highlights of Jawaan. The production values have been grand and the film’s director BVS Ravi fails to deliver out a commercial entertainer.
Jawaan Final Word
Jawaan is one film that can be given a huge skip as it fails in all the available ways throughout the second half. Sai Dharam Tej and Prasanna have been outstanding in their assigned roles.
