They are having a baby in their 40s which is increasing from the past few years. It was considered unhealthy in the past but it is now considered to be common. Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor Khan recently announced that she is expecting her second child soon. The 40-year-old actress has a three year old son Taimur. There are speculations that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too is expecting their second baby. As per the experts, pregnancy is right between late 20s and early 30s. This is best both for mother and the baby.

It would be quite difficult for the mother to conceive and even the symptoms of pregnancy gets complicated. The ideal age of giving birth to the first child should always be 30.5 years. The health of the mother happens to be the biggest deciding factor for the second baby. A woman should think about having their second baby after she completely recovers from the first pregnancy. The ideal gap between both the pregnancies should be 18-23 months. This gives enough time to recover for the mother. After crossing 35 years of age for a woman, it is quite difficult for them to conceive and the late pregnancy also turns a risk. Several doctors advise fertility treatments for them.

There is also a chance for miscarriage and stillbirth in this age. Also, the born babies will have some birth effects or low birth weights. All those who are in their 40s should be extra careful and stay in frequent touch with your doctors. It is also advisable to visit a fertility specialist if you are trying to get pregnant naturally from the past six months. The pregnancy symptoms will be more intense and complicated. The women would experience more aches and pains in the joints. With several advancements in medicine, it is common to conceive in the late 40s. Though there are complications, it is not impossible.
