Answer the hide marks in you!

Some problems like dark circles, pigmentation and pimple marks are visible on screen… others like stretch marks and even a burn mark even though considered as common, they leave a major impact on us. Let us know, how to treat burn marks, so that we are left with a crystal clear skin;

Apply aloe vera over the burn as soon as possible after it happens. Pure juice taken directly from the plant is best, but you can also use gels bought at a pharmacy. If your skin feels like it's burning, refrigerate the gel first for more relief.

Use rosemary oil to treat a burn mark that is not open and has no blisters forming. Apply the oil on the burn a few times a day and pat lightly so it absorbs. Don't rub it in or press too hard on the burn mark.

Treat the wound with a generic triple-antibiotic ointment. This won't change the appearance of the wound, but it will decrease the chances of an infection and also act as an ant-inflammatory. A burn that is well-treated will heal faster and have less chance of causing scarring.

Apply vitamin E oil. Not only will this help the skin heal, but it will also keep it hydrated, preventing tightness and irritation. You can buy a cream with vitamin E or you can buy vitamin E oil capsules, split them open and use the oil directly.

You can also think beyond these and try the following measures;

Medications can also be used to get rid of burn scars. These medications are to be taken orally and they contain antihistamine or corticosteroids. Ensure that you consult a dermatologist or a physician if you prefer this option.

Avoid exposure of the burn scar to sunlight, as this may slower the disappearing of the scar. Use sun block to prevent direct exposure to sunlight. Use of moisturizer is also recommended.

Severe burn scars can create problems while performing daily activities. Laser treatment is one option you can use for severe burn scars. Burn scars due to very severe burning like third degree burning may need this treatment. Steroid injections are also available for such burn scars.
