Maruti Suzuki has gone for a stop-gap job by launching the new Swift Deca Limited Edition before introducing the new generation Swift. As there is still time to for the launch of a next-generation model, Maruti has introduced the Swift Deca to cater to its clientele till then.
The new limited edition model is offered in both the VXi and VDi petrol and diesel trims respectively, while two colour options of Pearl White and Bright Red are also offered. As was seen in the 2016 Auto Expo, early this year, the Swift Deca Limited Edition comes with visual enhancements to render a more sporty appeal to the legendary hatchback.
The most prominent are the twin-racing stripes on the side and rear profiles, black-painted alloy wheels, the number 10 painted on the front doors on either side and additional side skirting. The roof mounted spoiler, rear door and C-pillar stripes, etc. are some of the theme-based enhancements on the Swift Deca.
Meanwhile, the interiors get Sony Multimedia Touchscreen audio system connected to door-mounted 6-inch Sony speakers, External Microphone, Bluetooth Connectivity, etc. It also comes with dual-toned black and red seat covers with a white rim. The Swift Deca Limited Edition comes albeit without mechanical changes retaining the 1.2-litre K-Series Petrol motor and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. Both get mated a 5-speed manual transmission, as standard.
So, the petrol trim of the Limited Edition, the Swift Deca VXi gets priced at Rs. 5,94,445, while the diesel trim, the Swift DecaVDi gets priced Rs. 6,86,983 and both of them will be offered as limited edition models only for a short period of time. So, go grab one, if you would love to own a sporty version of the Swift.
