A British consumer group has tested out cartridges of ink in an epson printer and found out that a few fonts are ink-efficient than most others.
Ink-efficient? When you print a big dissertation, project or if you have regular printing works, try to save on the ink with a few set of fonts that consume least ink. A few thick fonts will run your cartridge out of ink very soon.
What fonts are best for me? Times New Roman is the most efficient font out there, present in all PCs by default. Centuury Gothic, Calibri among a few others are good choices that will save more ink.
What fonts to avoid? Verdana is one of the worst choices you can make while you go for printing. It is a ink-hog. Don't chose Tahoma or Arial either, since the thick lines in an letter can take a lot more than you think it would.
Save almost 44% ink when you use Times New Roman instead of Verdana!
