There have been several times you could have come across news that your posture while you work on the computer is not right. Your spine is bent, you have to sit straight, blah, blah.... Everyone now knows that you have to sit straight when you have to work for long hours on PC to ensure that you have no problems of posture but the problem is maintaining the posture.
Even if you consciously correct your posture to sit erect, after a few mins you might end up slouching in your comfortable chair. There is one solution to tackle this problem. Instead of keeping the monitor facing you parallelly tilt the monitor up by 45 degrees. So the screen is at an angle of 135 degrees with the plane on which it is resting.
This ensures that you have to sit straight to see the screen properly. Along with this try to keep your feet flat on the ground and your posture will remain perfect throughout the time you work on a computer.
