If you are feeling bloated or gassy, drink half a glass of fizzy drink. The sudden increase of pressure will activate your burp reflex, allowing you to evacuate the gas in your stomach.
Try to avoid soft drinks (Coca-cola, Sprite Pepsi) as these are acidic and instead go for plain soda water (something that is neutral or a base). You can make it at your home within a matter of seconds by adding a spoon of sodium bi-carbonate, baking soda, to some water. It will help you burp but also settle your stomach and help digestion.
