Reliance announces 5G launch from Diwali:- Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani addressed the 45th Annual Meeting today through a virtual meeting. Several key announcements are made on the occasion along with the 5G launch. He announced that his daughter Isha Ambani will lead the retail business. Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani will lead the new energy business of Reliance. 5G will be launched in the metros of Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata from Diwali this year. Rs 2 lakh crore investments are made by Reliance Industries Limited for 5G. Akash Ambani announced the new wifi hotspot that is named JioAirfiber. It will allow the customers to access fiber like internet speed without any wires. It would be easy to get connected to Gigabit speed internet anywhere told Akash Ambani.
The WhatsApp subscribers can shop from JioMart in the chat. Reliance is working with Alphabet Inc and Google to launch the budget 5G phone. The Reliance Retail will also launch FMCG business this year. Isha Ambani said that they will deliver and develop products to meet the daily needs of the country. The products would be of high quality and at affordable pricing. Reliance Industries Limited will also invest Rs 75000 crores in the field of petrochemical industry in the next five years. The investments would be made to set up PTA plant.
