Organizer of rave party in police custody

One Vishesh Vijay Handa, who allegedly organized a party in Mumbai where drugs were apparently circulated, was on Monday remanded to police custody till May 25. Notably, Vishesh Vijay was arrested last night in Mumbai along with 100 persons including 38 women by Mumbai police.

The news became a sensational piece as two IPL cricketers were among those who were enjoying at the party. However, there was no conformity of the usage of drugs by Rahul Sharma and Wayne Parell of Pune Warriors who were at the party. Nonetheless, the police said they would ascertain only after reports of medical examination are out. The detained people, including cricketers, were taken to Juhu police station where their blood and urine samples were collected for medical tests.

Notably, most of the detained people were reportedly foreign nationals.  Although police claimed the use of drugs at the party, the guests condemned it and said the party wasn’t rave. The police have also claimed that they recovered cocaine on the party premises.

Meanwhile, mother of Rahul Sharma, Indu Sharma has said that Rahul Sharma was out for a friend’s party and she had no clue about the alleged usage of drugs there. She has, however, said Rahul Sharma was fine.

This is the second time that IPL is in news for wrong reasons. Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore player allegedly molested a US citizen and now two IPL players were caught at alleged rave party. How is IPL going to react on this?
