Anti corruption crusader Anna Hazare’s team has made serious comments on Congress party and the prime minister Manmohan Singh. Lashing out at the Congress for being apathetic towards their demands of looking into corruption, Anna team has said that the Congress party using the prime minister Manmohan Singh as a shield. They have even quoted an epic character-Shikandi from Mahabharata (eunuch), who was used by Pandavas to kill Bishma knowing that Bhishma would not attack those who were not males. The team said Congress was using Manmohan Singh as Shikandi.

Meanwhile, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav came down heavily on Anna’s team for making such disrespectful statements on the prime minister.

Anna’s team member Prashant Bhushan: “"The Congress is using the Prime Minister as a shield like 'Shikhandi'. They say he is clean, so his cabinet must be clean. Why is the Prime Minister allowing himself to be used like 'Shikhandi' in this manner?"

Pandavas who used Shikandi were actually on the side of justice and even Lord Krishna supported them. So, did Bhushan indirectly meant that Congress is like Pandavas? A million dollar question!         (Phani)
