The ghastly incident of death by electricity while charging a mobile phone took place in Kamrup district of Assam. She was killed almost immediately after she received the electrical shock.

The woman absorbed the electrical jolt of a high intensity while she was was plugging the charger into the socket. Soon she fell unconsious on the ground in her house in Pitambar Hat Balaji Village in the district.

The woman was identified to be Lalita Kumar, who was rushed to the Rangiya Civil Hospital where she was declared to be brought dead.
